The Tuxedo Historical Society

Our Mission

We foster awareness of the community's heritage by collecting, preserving and exhibiting materials and presenting programs that document life, past and present, in the Town of Tuxedo and its communities. Our goals are to find ways to stir up interest in the community, increase our membership and funding, and keep the community involved and informed.

The Tuxedo Historical Society is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization formed in 1982 and located in the former historic Methodist Church at 7 Hospital Road, Tuxedo Park, NY 10987.

What We’re Doing

We’re excited about the improvements at our new building at 241 Rte. 17, with thanks to the Tuxedo Local Development Corporation for a matching grant. It’s looking fantastic and it’s exciting to see improvements happening in Tuxedo.
